I'm Coleman James, a London vocal coach, singer and actor. I've performed with The Choir of Man in Miami and New York, sung for Danny Elfman and Tim Burton at the Royal Albert Hall, and appeared in Line of Duty and Derry Girls. I trained at Mountview, where I'm now an examiner.

I'm an Irish singer, actor and vocal coach based in London, with over 20 years of professional performing behind me. I trained in musical theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where I'm now an examiner.
I've performed at the Royal Albert Hall and on a UK arena tour with Danny Elfman, Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton, conducted by John Mauceri, and recorded film scores for Elfman and Burton with Columbia Records. I've sung at the Olivier Awards for Barry Manilow and Stephen Sondheim, worked with Paul McCartney on his classical music at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, and supported Kelly Clarkson with The Choir of Man. On screen, I've appeared in Line of Duty, Derry Girls, Conversations with Friends and Wreck.
From 2015 to 2017 I was assistant head public speaking coach for TED Talks UK. Today I run Coleman James Vocal Coaching from a studio in Soho, teaching singers, actors and speakers.
