Singing Lessons in Soho, London
My studio isn't just near Soho, it's in Soho: a music shop just off Oxford Circus at 48 Great Marlborough St, London W1F 7BB. If you already work, rehearse or spend your days around here, there's no commute to factor in at all, just a lesson slotted into the middle of your day.
Who this is for
Soho brings me a different crowd to most areas: people from the record labels, production companies and ad agencies packed into these streets who want to actually use their voice rather than just talk about it in meetings, performers and session musicians grabbing an hour between rehearsals, and regulars from Ronnie Scott's or the Soho Theatre who catch a set one night and decide it's time they had lessons of their own. There's also a fair few people working the shops and cafes around Carnaby Street and Berwick Street Market who pop in on a break.
What a lesson looks like
- One-to-one coaching built around your actual voice, not a generic syllabus
- Real focus on breath control, range, and technique that holds up under pressure, not just in the practice room
- Easy to fit around a Soho working day, including early mornings or a lunch slot
Finding the studio
The studio sits just off Oxford Circus, a few minutes' walk from Carnaby Street and Soho Square, and an easy stroll from Piccadilly Circus or Tottenham Court Road if you're coming from the other side of Soho. Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Tottenham Court Road tube stations are all within about five minutes on foot.
